Unbearable

by Lyle Hatcher
(Co-author Different Drummers)

I know some of you wake up with a bear every morning. He gets out of bed bear-naked, all hairy and stuff, walks bear-foot across the bear-floor scratching away.
You greet him with a "Good morning, sweetheart," and he bear-ly lets out a grunt. At the breakfast table he gobbles up some grub and growls something about it being a jungle out there. With the picnic basket you packed for him for lunch he shuffles out and reminds you that he is going fishing later with some of the guys, and he won't be late. I'm sure you feel like he doesn't appreciate you or think about you the way you do about him, but it bears mentioning that your grizzly, stinky mate thinks about one thing all day, and one thing only, and that's how much he loves his sweet honey...you!
