Different Drummers is such a great reading experience. As a father of a special needs child, and as a practitioner who treats children with issues including focus problems and physical disabilities, I found the book to be highly informative, as well as exciting and fun, page after page. The authors bring you right there into the lives of two kids bolstering eachother with their combined strengths in a world that rejects them as individually weak and incomplete. Different Drummers is an inspiration for everyone who knows and loves someone with AD/HD, muscular dystrophy, or any physical or cognitive disability because it gives hope for living life to its fullest.
