Heartwarming!

"Different Drummers" is a heartwarming story of two unlikely friends. It gives great insight into what it feels like to be a hyperactive child in 'normativel' society and also expresses very movingly the desires of a child with muscular dystrophy to experience 'normalcy.' I tearfully and joyfully felt the wind on my cheeks when Lyle hoisted David on his back for a run through the fields. "Different Drummers" is a lovely read that will be enjoyed by young and old alike.
