My Mom gave this book to me as a gift for my 56th birthday last month. I am held locked in thought and emotion for these real life characters. As I was reading the book I kept thinking...this needs to be made into a movie. When I mentioned this to my Mom, who is part of a writers group in Spokane, she said they were working on just that. She sent me this link to add my support. I LOVE the characters in this book and their fortitude and zest for life in the midst of obstacles. The life's lessons here are huge for every age. I am purchasing the book for my friend who has 4 boys. What an awesome gift!!! Thank you Mom, thank you Lyle.
