As I travel, talking to folks
about the book Different Drummers, I am amazed at
how there isn’t a week that goes
by that I don’t hear, “My child or grandchild is
hyperactive, can you tell me what to
do?”
It is a concerned and urgent tone looking
for an ear. There is some commonality in each
story, but the outcome, the future, and the
uniqueness of each child always fascinates me.
Several times a week I will share the short stories, the blueprints, and the different tools from my “Tackle Box” that I have heard from parents, teachers, doctors and grandparents on how they have worked and struggled to mold our miracles.
